Web app & sessions
The product is a Next.js app. In production it runs on Vercel’s managed platform: every page load and API call goes over HTTPS (TLS). Sign-in uses NextAuth with a server-only secret, so session integrity does not depend on storing sensitive state in the browser.
Workspace data in MongoDB
Workspaces, users, documents, and operational records live in MongoDB. Production deployments target MongoDB Atlas so you can choose the cluster region — including EU regions for data residency. Each company’s data is scoped to its workspace so tenants stay separated.
Encryption in transit
Connections from this app to MongoDB use encrypted channels (for example `mongodb+srv` on Atlas). Between users and the site, TLS is standard. Fine-grained at-rest encryption and compliance features depend on your Atlas configuration and plan.
Payments (Stripe)
Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Card numbers stay in Stripe’s PCI environment; we store billing metadata and use webhooks for entitlements — not full card data in our own database.
