How to use

Get productive on Cogrova in a day

A practical walkthrough for operators: claim your company URL on cogrova.com, invite the right people, file documents, and keep finance visible — without bouncing between drives and spreadsheets.

  1. 1

    Create your workspace

Register with a work email and pick a short company slug. That becomes your private URL — the home for files, team access, and the overview dashboard.

Tip: use a slug your team will remember (e.g. your company brand).

  2. 2

    Invite teammates with roles

Open Team & access and add accountants, lawyers, or partners. Use role templates or custom permissions so each person only sees what they need.

Tip: owners can reset passwords and sign in on behalf of members when helping someone get started.

  3. 3

    Upload company files

Go to Files and drop invoices, statements, and contracts into month folders. Previews and search keep the library usable as it grows.

Tip: enable AI analysis in Settings if you want amounts and dates extracted automatically.

  4. 4

    Review the Overview

Use the Overview dashboard for income, expenses, and company context. This is the shared picture leadership and advisors can open on the same URL.

Tip: set company registry (KRS) in Settings to power the company timeline.

  5. 5

    Run finance ops (Professional)

On Professional, open Income & expense documents and Worker invoices for ledger rows and contractor submissions — without exporting everything to a separate tool.

Tip: compare Essentials vs Professional on the Compare page before upgrading.

  6. 6

    Use Messages and Logs

Keep clarifications in Messages next to the work. Owners and admins can audit sign-ins and file activity in Logs when something needs a trail.

Tip: turn features on or off in Settings (for example Worker invoices) so the nav stays focused.

Quick tips

  • Start with Files + Team even on Essentials — most companies need a shared library and clear seats first.
  • Give advisors Viewer or template roles instead of sharing the owner password.
  • Use Personal files for private owner documents that should not sit in the company library.
  • If you are evaluating with a client, open the interactive demos before inviting them live.
